Itinerary at a Glance

DAY 1:

The bustling capital is the best place to start your Vietnamese experience. From wide streets to narrow lanes, large restaurants to intimate local dining experiences, Hanoi has them all. Explore Hanoi, the culinary way, district by district.

DAY 2:

Each street of Hanoi, serves up something unique. Our expert will take you through the sheer variety of cuisine. Be spoilt for choice, as you take your pick of the unusual to the exotic. Take a culinary journey through the streets.

DAY 3:

Attend a cooking workshop, to awake the latent chef in you. Learn the traditional dishes, and soon add your signature taste to them. Once you're done polishing your cooking skills, it is time to bard a train to Sapa.

DAY 4:

A thriving centre of colourful activity, the markets at Sapa house everything from fresh produce to a butchers section. Take your pick from the plethora of handicrafts, bought down by the hill tribe people from surrounding villages.

DAY 5:

Attend a cooking class, and become one with the hill tribe people. Learn how they make the tastiest cuisines, from the most simple ingredients, in the easiest way possible. Organic, healthy food, always a great experience.

DAY 6:

Tread the off beaten track, in the hills. Thick foliage covers these hills, which are home to many interesting species, some exclusive to the region. Board a train to Hanoi, another bustling city in Vietnam.

DAY 7:

Fly into Danang. Full of spectacular landmarks, this city is proof of Vietnams dynamic development. From Danang, board a train to Hoi An, a city rife with rich history and a distinctive regional cuisine.

DAY 8:

Learn how to cast a net, and reel in a massive haul while learning the nuances of fishing. A major industry here, fishing requires skill and patience, amongst other things. Once done, stroll leisurely through the ancient architecture, for a comprehensive history lesson.

DAY 9:

Put on your chef's hat once again, for a cooking class. Vietnamese cuisine is unique from region to region, and attending workshops will improve your skills accordingly. Visit galleries, to see the history of the region depicted through beautiful paintings and murals.

DAY 10:

Fly into the Ho Chi Minh City, home to museums,restaurants and French colonial buildings. The city formerly known as Saigon, is the quintessential Vietnamese experience.

DAY 11:

Buy the freshest produce, from a boat, while sipping on a fresh coffee,. The floating markets are lively and colourful. Local vendors exchange gossip and products, on both motorised craft and stand up rowing boats.

DAY 12:

Fly back into Ho Chi Minh City, and prepare for your imminent departure from Vietnam.
