Itinerary at a Glance

DAY 1:

Arrive in the Maximum City. Mumbai is India's most bustling metropolis, with tall skyscrapers. Known also as the finance capital of India, Mumbai is home to many MNC's. Be amazed, as you whisk through this concrete jungle.

DAY 2:

Explore Mumbai. Bollywood, India's film industry, has set up base here. Consequently, Mumbai has a dash of glamour, associated with it. Everything here is larger than life. Home to a teeming population, each person in Mumbai, is unique in his or her way.

DAY 3:

From Mumbai, head to the south, to Chennai. The capital of Tamil Nadu and one of South India's most prominent states, Chennai is a unique experience. During the afternoon, take a city tour through Chennai to see what it truly has to offer.

DAY 4:

Go on an excursion to Mahabalipuram. An ancient historic town, it was once a bustling seaport. Mahabalipuram also has a beautiful coastline with serene beaches. Get lost in your thoughts, as you get in touch with nature.

DAY 5:

Fly to Trichy, and then onto Chettinad. Known for its cuisine, especially the famed Chettinad Chicken, this place is magical for your taste buds. Discover Chettinad through its varied cuisine, and experience its unique culture, through your lens.

DAY 6:

Explore the mansions in Chettinad. Huge architectural marvels, these are imposing structures. Once again, immerse yourself in a culinary universe, more specifically the world of Chettinad Cuisine. With delights to cater to every palette, this cuisine will surprise even the most seasoned gourmand.

DAY 7:

The next day, drive to Periyar. Famed for its tiger reserve, Periyar also has a great variety of flora and fauna. Have an immersive experience nestled in the lap of nature and listen to the melody of birdsong throughout the day.

DAY 8:

Explore Periyar, the "Spice Coast". Known for its spices as well as for its wildlife, Periyar is a multifaceted locale. Gorgeous in every respect, painted in different shades of natural hues, this place will be a soothing experience for your eyes as well as your soul.

DAY 9:

Drive to Kumarakom, the essence of Kerala. A popular tourist destination, it is located near the city of Kottayam, and set against the picturesque backdrop of the beautiful Vembanad Lake, the largest lake in Kerala.

DAY 10:

Experience pure bliss as you scroll down the backwaters that criss cross Kumarakom. As you look out of the boat, you will see along its banks, settlements, nestled in the greenery. Spend a day relaxing and taking in the serenity the place has to offer.

DAY 11:

Drive to Kochi, the commercial capital of Kerala. A bustling city, Kochi has its own unique experiences, which will surprise you. A major port city, it is also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, as it was an important spice trading centre during a period of time in history.

DAY 12:

Take a city tour of Kochi. Ancient travellers and tradesmen have often mentioned Kochi in their writing, which is testament to the fact that this city had its origins ages ago. Make your way through vibrant markets, with many unique commodities to offer.

DAY 13:

Once you have spent all your energy discovering Kochi, it is time to get ready to depart to the airport.
